Diane Sears of Orlando coaches authors of nonfiction books on topics including business, entrepreneurship, access to capital, history, memoirs, self-help, spirituality, etiquette, sports, cooking and other topics. She has helped her clients produce more than 100 books from all stages of creation, starting with an idea and continuing all the way through publishing and promoting. Diane's favorite color is turquoise which she associates with feelings of peace, serenity and good fortune.  

She is the author of two business books: Tapping Your Inner Entrepreneur: Making the Move from Employee to Business Owner and Inside AP: A Guide to Today’s Accounts Payable Profession. She is working on a third book scheduled for release in mid-2025.

Diane is an award-winning newspaper and magazine journalist who has written thousands of bylines for daily newspapers and numerous magazines. She has served as the editor of several publications on topics ranging from business and community to medicine and finance. She is the founder and president of DiVerse Media LLC, and her client work has included producing white papers, executive speeches, TED Talks, newsletters, social media campaigns, events and more.

As a champion of women and entrepreneurs, Diane serves as co-chair and global programs chair for the Go for the Greens Foundation Inc., an international nonprofit she co-founded in 2007 that helps women business owners grow their companies, incorporate sustainable practices, use golf as a business tool and mentor future female leaders. She has served as a leader and member of numerous women’s business organizations, including the Women’s Business Development Council and the Women’s Business Enterprise Council of Florida (WBEC Florida), which certifies companies as women-owned for the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

For her work with women business owners, she was twice named member of the year by the National Association of Women Business Owners and she was inducted into the Women’s Business Enterprise Hall of Fame by the American Institute of Diversity & Commerce.

When she is not reading, writing, editing or attending business events, Diane is planning her next trip. Her favorite travels have been through Scotland and Canada and to the UK, Portugal, Colombia, Mexico, Panama, the Caribbean and the United States. She is an avid participant of Scottish Highland Games and Celtic festivals as a member of Clan Davidson. Her favorite hobbies include whisky taskings, wine pairings and following all kinds of sports, especially hockey.
