Can you share a personal struggle that impacted your life?

On March 22, 2023 my house burned down. It was a complete loss. For me the biggest loss was my dog, My Girl Blu, she just turned a year old before the fire. During tragedies like this you are remined what is truly important in life. My son & I were ok, we had each other. All the “stuff” can be replaced. Bad things happen to people every day, it’s how we choose to deal with those tragedies in life that defines us. I learned from my tragedy, grew from the incident and moved forward in life.

   

Can you share the biggest career challenge you faced?

One of the biggest career challenges I encountered was when my house burned down, I had just been promoted within one of the largest DSO companies in the nation. I had no clothes and no place to live.  I had to switch gears fast to come up with a game plan how I would transition into my new position while dealing with all my personal obstacles. I controlled what I could and didn’t sweat the small stuff. I stayed organized, kept the lines of communication open with my regional director and gave it 100%, I was determined not to let my personal obstacles get in the way of my career.

​What is your top career accomplishments and why?

Started a Boutique Smile Makeover Practice from scratch and grew it into a very successful business. I took my idea and turned it into reality, I learned a lot and grew as a businesswoman.

What consulting expertise do you provide outside of coaching?

Healthcare Administration, helping practices prepare for accreditation. Promoting products at Dental Conventions and Event Planning. Personal training programs and yoga instruction as part of my Health & Wellness regimen.
